SMOS really shines as a mining OS, particularly for those just starting out. Setting it up and tweaking it for either Nvidia or AMD is a breeze (though you can't use both simultaneously). I've been quite pleased with their product and the support they offer.

"Switching from HiveOS due to issues..."
We were previously using HiveOS and faced problems with low average hashrates. So, we opted to try a different OS. Simplemining has been great; it shows average hashrates that are nearly identical, and the reboot time is way quicker if the rig crashes. :)
